Teaching kids how to read. Letter A. More to come…

Im making a little video for a song called take me to the pope that consists of little drawings on tobacco paper. A friend of mine scanned the first drawings but the colours turned all weird so the drawings look a bit off, cant really see the shading either. Im going to have to try again, maybe ask my buddy to take photos of them instead of scanning because scanning never seems to work for me. I could also try and shop them a bit. Heres the first six I think.

More drawings for this series and hopefully a video to come, all in better quality.

I will take you to the pope
I will wash you with his soap
You must choose Jesus
or the rope!”

This is a quick water colour test I did for an idea I have. Water colours are something Ive never touched before so the final piece will most likely be made with something else. I was quite surprised at the results, doesn’t look half bad, really simplistic. The final painting, if I get around to it, has a lot more going on, and only really connects with this one because it features fishing as well…

Its a new year and time to revive this ATW thing. I’ve been busy at work so I haven’t really had the time to update anything. In any case here is the short film FAME which was completed a pretty long time ago now. I’ll be putting up some drawings at some point as well since Im ill and have time to do it now. Enjoy the fine acting talents of Mr.Hosking as well as the intense camerawork of one Mr.Petrosino, one of Italys finest cinematographers, the best the world has to offer!
I hope you enjoy the last stand of one “Memphis” Dave Calhoon. Thanks to Kristjan for the upload help!
